VINAYAGAR also known as PILLAIYAR is the primary god who is worshipped before starting any other Pooja.
VINAYAGAR means one who destroys the evils and brings about prosperity.
Without worshipping VINAYAGAR if any other Pooja is performed before then it is believed that the Pooja is not accepted by the other gods also.
PILLAIYAR is the son of LORD SHIVA and the elder Brother of KARTHIKEYA(MURUGAN).
It is believed that before starting any type of work if we worship PILLAIYAR and start,that work produces the best result.
